Founded in 1958, Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (LNUTCM) is the only medical university in Liaoning Province that dedicates in the education of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as the bassinet of the talented men in TCM. LNUTCM holds 3 campuses in Shenyang and Dalian. 

At present, she has 16 colleges, sets up 30 programs like Traditional Chinese Medicine Program, Combination of TCM with Western Medicine Program, Acupuncture and Massage Program, etc., holds 3 ambulatory stations for post-doctoral research，8 doctoral degree accreditation authorizations and 18 master degree accreditation authorizations, and also has 1 academy, 6 research institutes, 2 libraries and 1 museum.

Additionally, LNUTCM has 4 affiliated hospitals which combine medical service, clinical teaching with scientific research, and meanwhile she has cooperated with 40 hospitals for clinical practice training and 30 pharmaceutical practicing bases.

LNUTCM has frequent international cooperation and communication. Presently, she has setup long-term and stable cooperation with over 20 countries and areas such as Korea, USA., UK, Canada, Japan, Australia, Russia, ect. The international education college is the specialty institution which offers the training and education to international students in different levels like undergraduate program, master degree, doctor degree, advanced study and language training. Furthermore, the international education college charges all the affairs in the process of recruiting, educating, and administrating.
